    Terminus Quartet creates an immersive experience that fosters a deep connection with music. By incorporating optional blindfolds and focused themes, they counter daily overstimulation from smartphones, loud environments, multitasking or social media, encouraging meaningful personal engagement.

    By breaking conventional concert norms, they empower each listener to experience the music on their own terms, fostering introspection and emotional resonance that evoke individual memories and stories

    Sacha completed his Master’s in Classical Violin at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague under Ilona Sieh Dhian Ho. Before this, he pursued a Master’s in Music Education and spent two years assisting the renowned violinist and pedagogue Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University in Bloomington. Sacha also holds a Master’s in Music Psychology from UNED. As an active pedagogue, Sacha coaches at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, runs a private studio at Strijkdomein, and teaches at Het Klooster music school in Woerden. He is a committee member for the ESTA 2025 Conference in Amersfoort and conducts research focused on mindfulness and concentration in music performance. Having been involved in quartet playing from a young age, Sacha developed a strong interest in contemporary music during his time at the Ensemble Academy in The Hague, where he collaborated with composers such as Seung-Won Oh and Kate Moore. He has performed solo and chamber works by composers like Lutosławski, Takemitsu, Seung-Won Oh, Caroline Shaw, and Sofia Gubaidulina, as well as works by emerging composers Juan Montero Palma and Annija Zariņa. His passion for quartet playing and contemporary music ultimately led to the founding of the Terminus Quartet, formerly known as Resonance Quartet.
    Sacha Paredes Sánchez
    Originally from Warsaw, Poland, Anna Szafraniec is a versatile violinist with a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary music. She has performed across Europe in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings, earning recognition at competitions in Łomianki, Bydgoszcz, and Kielce. A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, where she studied with Theodora Geraets, Anna also took part in the European Chamber Music Academy. As a freelancer, she has collaborated with ensembles such as Ciconia Consort, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, and Philharmonie Zuidnederland. She brings her wide-ranging musical experience to the Terminus Quartet
    Ania Szafraniec 
    Born in Oviedo, Spain, Martín began playing the cello at the age of four. He studied in Salamanca with Aldo Mata and Lorenzo Meseguer, and completed his Master's with distinction at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague under Lucia Swarts. Passionate about chamber music, he has performed across Spain, the Netherlands, and Cyprus with ensembles including the Trems and Loksias Quartets, earning chamber music awards in 2013 and 2014. As a freelance artist, Martín explores interdisciplinary performance, appearing at festivals such as Delft Fringe, Orlando Festival, and Buffer Fringe in Nicosia.
    Martín Álvarez Díaz
    Sergio S. Perera is a violist from Córdoba, Spain, whose career reflects a deep passion for contemporary music and interdisciplinary artistic exploration. Following his undergraduate studies in classical music at RCSM “Victoria Eugenia” in the city of Granada, where he finished with the highest grades, he pursued advanced training with maestro Antonello Farulli at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in Florence, Italy. In 2024, Sergio completed his Master’s degree at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, under Professor Asdis Valdimarsdóttir. During this time, he specialized in contemporary music, performing with renowned Dutch ensembles such as AsköISchonbërg and the New European Ensemble. He has played works by composers including Pierre Boulez, Louis Andriessen, Pauline Oliveros, Seung Wong-Oh, Kate Moore, etc.
